If you have ever felt stumped about what to say in a conversation about vegetarianism, or you wonder what to do about a friend or family member who doesn’t take your vegetarianism seriously, or simply want to become a more effective conversationalist and vegetarian or animal advocate, you will want to see this event.
Bruce Friedrich will discuss top tips from his book, "The Animal Activist’s Handbook". Bruce spearheaded the PETA campaigns that resulted in landmark reforms in the animal treatment practices of several huge fast-food corporations. He was named by Details magazine as one of the most influential young men in this country. Bruce Friedrich is Vice President for Policy at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which is better known as PETA.
Skinny Bitch author Rory Freedman says that The Animal Activist’s Handbook “will elevate your activism and forever alter who you are and who you want to be.” HSUS Director of Farmed Animal Campaigns Paul Shapiro says “I wish this book had been written when I first got involved in the animal protection movement.” And Animal Liberation author and Princeton bioethicist Peter Singer says “Get it, read it, and act on it. Now.” Don’t miss this event. And please, bring along a meat-eating friend or two. For infomation about Bruce Friedrich's book, see http://animaladvocacybook.com/
