Earthsave's veg/vegan dinner series meets on the last Saturday of each month, at Govans Presbyterian Church, next to the historic Senator Theater. Our May event will be a double bill, with a presentation on “All Reasons Vegan” by Nancy Poznak, and a shorter talk on “Essential Supplements for Vegans", by Dietitian Mark Rifkin. [Please RSVP by phone or email if you don't plan to bring a dish to share, and will be paying for dinner]

The featured presentation will be " All Reasons Vegan" by, Nancy Poznak, MS, who is a health educator and teaches college classes. She’s certified as a Community Health Education Specialist, and is a Vegan Lifestyle and Education Coach, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. Nancy is founder of BotaniCuisine, which provides consultation and marketing to make it easy for restaurants to offer plant-based, vegan-friendly options, and for food enthusiasts to find them.

And Registered Dietitian Mark Rifkin will speak on “Essential Supplements for Vegans", and take some questions. Mark works as a policy maker at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, in DC. The Academy is the largest group of nutrition professionals in the world. And we are always happy to hear from Mark, who really knows veg/vegan nutrition.
