EDUCATING & INSPIRING OTHERS - HOW YOU CAN HELP

If you share the EarthSave dream of a healthier, more sustainable, peaceful and compassionate planet, there are several things you can do to help spread the word about healthier eating.

Your membership fees will allow us to participate in health and community fairs, and to publish and disseminate much needed educational literature.

You could also help Earthsave by collecting used inkjet cartridges, for which our nonprofit can collect a deposit. Every little bit helps.

And if you know of a location where we might place a stack of free Earthsave News magazines, please let us know so we can get some to you, or to the location.

We can do the same with free copies of On Purpose Woman magazine, and Health Quest magazines, which always feature large ads for Earthsave events.

And if you'd like to help by doing some leafleting, we have a real nice four page flier with some great general info on the veg lifestyle and on our upcoming Earthsave events.

We would also appreciate your help with taking Earthsave's monthly event fliers to the information desk at your local library, which will post nonprofit event notices for free. You may pick up the fliers at Earthsave events or tablings, or download the flier from our website.

You might also consider inviting an Earthsave representative or nutrition professional as a speaker or tabling representative at your organization's events.

Extra help at dinner events is always appreciated. In addition to help with setting up tables and chairs, we almost always have literature to be folded and/or labeled and stuffed in magazines. Feel free to arrive as early as 4:30 for Saturday dinners.

Many local publications and websites offer free event listings to groups like ours. Would you be willing to help find some new avenues for publicity, and send regular monthly notices to several of these?

Word of mouth advertising is always the best way to grow. Tell people about Earthsave! And please tell us about any special skills or door prizes you may be able to offer, or about some other groups we should know about. Let people know we can provide speakers at events for other groups.

One other very simple, yet really effective thing you can do is to forward our monthly email newsletter and occasional updates to others, and encourage them to subscribe.
